Opening this September, Wags'n'Whiskers is our brand-new pet grooming salon with a difference.
Alongside providing professional grooming services, the salon will give young people at Bale's Farm the opportunity to work towards recognised pet grooming qualifications while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced groomers.
Every visit will help support the development of confidence, practical skills and future career opportunities. We can't wait to welcome you and your four-legged friends this September. 🐾
The Concept
Wags'n'Whiskers is more than a dog grooming salon—it's a place where professional grooming and meaningful learning come together.
Our trainee groomers, young people with SEN, will work alongside experienced, qualified groomers in a real salon environment. Through hands-on experience, expert mentoring and nationally recognised training, they'll develop practical skills while working towards accredited pet grooming qualifications.
Every appointment helps provide valuable work experience, build confidence and create pathways into future employment, while ensuring every dog receives the highest standard of professional care.
