Fire of London: Cont šŸ”„

Another week completed! Our young people finished the week off by making a delicious potato and butternut squash soup over the campfire.

One of our young people focused on duck enrichment today and decided to puree a watermelon to feed to our ducks, this was enjoyed by both our young person and definitely the ducks šŸ‰! Watermelon is very good for ducks as it is extremely hydrating due to its high water content, so the ducks can look forward to this more in the summer months ā˜€ļø.

Our young people have also started performing monthly health checks on the animals, expanding their knowledge on animal health. This involves using a tick sheet to monitor key areas on the animal that can indicate problems.

Well done everyone, another fantastic week! šŸŽ‰
