It has been all out Valentine's Day on the farm today, with our young people taking part in some Valentine themed art and crafts. A particular focus today was Kadinsky, who was the very first abstract artist, our young people took inspiration from his work and even copied how he used to work with music on which would inspire him. Some young people also made heart lanterns from wood and painted them beautifully.
There was also a Valentine's day codebreaker and a mindfulness heart colouring activity, these are coming along well and are going to look fantastic when they are finished.
A really cool science experiment was also going on, where our young people would cut open a lemon and put baking soda, washing up liquid and food colouring in, these ingredients reacted together and created a mini fizzing volcano. 🌋
