Storm Eunice damage

We thought we would share with you the damage that Storm Eunice has caused at Bale’s Farm today. Yesterday we made the sensible decision to shut the farm and this is exactly why. Our field shelter blew over the stables from the field opposite and completely came apart. We are very lucky that this didn’t damage the stables and hurt the horses. A huge thank you to our amazing team that came into work to help dismantle this to reduce anymore damage that could of been caused.

During the process we found 3 tiny bunnies hiding within the straw. We have safely moved them into our smaller shelter with plenty of straw, food, hay and water.

Our veg patch has also been ripped apart by the wind.

All of our animals are safe and secure on the farm and being checked regularly. We hope everyone out there stays safe!
