Welcome Seren & Henry 🐴

We had two new arrivals on the farm today, Seren and Henry, so our young people have really enjoyed meeting these two characters. Henry is a 6 month old Miniature Shetland pony and is extremely hyper and vocal, you can hear him from the other side of the farm! Seren is a 17 year old thoroughbred, is 16 hands tall, but despite her size she is a gentle giant. 🐴

The focus of learning this week is the Chinese New Year, this year is the year of the tiger. Our young people have been creating rocking tigers and completing word searches on this topic.

At the end of the day our young people made blueberry muffins on the campfire by putting the mixture in hollowed out oranges and covering these in tin foil, these were absolutely delicious!
