Bale's Farm Animals

At Bale's Farm, our animals are loved very much by everybody. The first thing the young people do when they arrive at the farm is say hello and cuddle the animals.

We believe that animals provide opportunities for children to enhance their social skills and practice care-giving and nurturing. Studies have shown that interacting with animals can decrease cortisol (a stress-related hormone) and anxiety. Also, having positive relationships with animals can aid in the development of trusting relationships with others.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” Anatole France, French Poet
