Boats

Today our young people have been exploring the properties of water by building their own boat using natural materials. Not only were these fantastically made, they also looked beautiful!

Our sun catcher pond scene is really coming along, and it now features frogs, fish, lily pads and a butterfly. Also, delicious banana bread has been baked by our young people, a classic and tasty recipe.

When the sun made its way through the clouds our young people made the most of it by playing maths games outside and having fun on the swings.

Our young people also investigated density by adding salt to water to see if an egg will float. The salt increases the density of the water, making the egg float, because it adds to its mass but has a very small effect on its volume.
