Properties of water

This week our young people are learning about water properties and continuing to expand their pond life knowledge.

Our young people have had lots of fun making sensory bottles, which are so pretty! These are made by filling a bottle with water, and adding glycerin and glitter. The added glycerin gives the contents a higher viscosity so that the glitter falls slower and for longer.

Amazing pond scenes have been created from any material of our young peoples' choosing, this has really worked their imagination and has led to some wonderful creations.

Some calm mindfulness colouring of a pond life scene has been completed by a few young people, this is an excellent way to take a step back and relax.
